R. Scott Weiser, CAE, President
As President,
Scott has played an instrumental role in representing industry interests
in the legislative arena for decades. You can be assured that your
interests are being protected because Scott and his staff are present at
every committee meeting, regulatory function, or business meeting that
may have an impact on the industry. No stone goes unturned in
protecting the interest of the industry. As one of the most respected
lobbyists in the State of Iowa, Scott has a reputation of always
providing accurate information on legislative issues and dealing with
these issues with the highest degree of integrity. In addition, Scott
oversees the operation of the IMTA and is respected throughout the State
of Iowa and the nation as an highly respected association executive.
Brenda Neville, CAE, Vice President
As Vice
President, Brenda is primarily responsible for the organization &
management of the operations of the IMTA. Brenda works with virtually
all areas of the organization; marketing, communications, public
relations, grassroots development, fundraising, advocacy and public
policy development, and assistance with the financial oversight. Brenda
is also Iowa’s coordinator for the National Highway Watch program and
actively represents the industry on several committees and appointments
on both the state and national level.
Don Egli -
Director of Safety & Security

Don manages
IMTA’s safety and security department. In that capacity, he provides
valuable support to IMTA member companies on issues of safety and
security. In addition, Don assists with IMTA’s ongoing training efforts,
IMTA’s safety auditing programs, and monitoring the ongoing changes in
several regulatory areas. Don is available to answer members regulatory
questions and is our liaison with FMCSA, Iowa DOT and several other
regulatory agencies.
DeAnn Moody – Events &
Education Manager

DeAnn serves as the events and
education manager for IMTA and assists with the event coordination of
IMTA’s many activities. DeAnn also helps with the development of IMTA’s
aggressive educational calendar. DeAnn is a valuable asset when she
offers her support and assistance on many of IMTA’s special projects. As
IMTA’s only part-time staff member, DeAnn works four days a week but
generates a tremendous amount of effort and enthusiasm in everything she
does.
Holly
Mueggenberg -
Communications & Public Relations Manager /
Web site Administrator

Holly manages various communications efforts at the IMTA. She assists
with publications including division newsletters, the
InfoFlash
and the
Lifeliner. Holly assists with
all communication processes implemented through IMTA and is also
involved with the ongoing marketing campaigns and efforts. Holly is also
frequently assigned to a variety of special projects throughout the year
and offers communication assistance for these activities. In addition,
Holly is also the web site administrator and has elevated IMTA’s
presence by maintaining a web site that is a valuable member resource.
Mike Spalla - Membership Manager

Mike is involved with all aspects of
IMTA’s membership activities. His duties include member recruitment
andretention, member outreach and advocacy, oversight of monthly billing
and assisting with financial oversight of the membership department.
Mike is often the point of contact at the IMTA for many members through
his courtesy and event calls. Mike is also involved with the member
outreach efforts and activities and works with IMTA Divisions and Road
Team as well.
Amanda Madison - Administrative Assistant

Amanda serves as IMTA’s administrative assistant and receptionist. In
this capacity, Amanda provides administrative support to all areas of
the association and is the point of contact for IMTA’s front office
area. Amanda also serves as an executive assistant to the IMTA President
and helps organize several special projects and activities for the
executive branch of the association.
