The Iowa Motor Truck Association has continued to monitor and advocate for the passage of the USMCA (United States, Mexico, Canada Agreement). Earlier this year, IMTA members met with elected officials in DC and urged them to support the new agreement, however, Congress has yet to ratify the agreement. In an effort to further educate the public as well as legislators on the importance of USMCA, IMTA leaders signed on to an Op Ed piece that was distributed to all major media outlets in Iowa last week.
