IMTA/Pilot Flying J Partnership

One of the key components of the Iowa Motor Truck Association's Fuel Savings Program is the coverage IMTA members are receiving to maximize their discount opportunities.

Pilot Flying J is one of the leading fuel companies in the trucking industry with more than 550 locations in 43 U.S. states and six Canadian provinces. This gives truckers the ability to find a Pilot or Flying J location just about anywhere along their drive. Yet, one of the biggest motivating factors in establishing this partnership was Pilot's presence in the state of Iowa.

There are a total of 13 Pilot Flying J locations in Iowa -- Altoona; Atalissa; Avoca; Brooklyn; Clear Lake; Council Bluffs; Davenport; Urbandale; Walcott (2); Waterloo (Elk Run Heights and Evansdale); and Williams. Several more stops rest just outside state lines as well, in cities like Gretta, Neb. (Omaha); Sioux Falls, S.D.; and Wayland, Mo.

In addition to being the nation's largest seller of over-the-road diesel fuel, Pilot Flying J also offers at least one restaurant at every location and numerous amenities at most of its stops, including ATMs, CAT Scales, check cashing, Internet kiosks, public laundry, showers, truck washes, Western Union and wireless Internet, among others. 

And the fact that the Iowa Motor Truck Association is one of the most respected trucking associations in the country compelled Pilot Flying J to form its first fuel program partnership. The two organizations are committed to the relationship and are ready to help IMTA members save money on fuel.
