IMTA is excited to announce the roll out of a new public relations campaign called the ‘IMTA Extra Mile Campaign’ to highlight how those in the trucking industry are making a difference in Iowa during unprecedented times.
The IMTA Extra Mile Campaign is an online campaign that will share stories about IMTA's almost 700 members that are going above and beyond to lend a helpful hand at their company, in their communities, etc.
IMTA encourages people to submit stories detailing their efforts for a chance to be highlighted on our various social media platforms and win a $25 Amazon gift card. The grand prize winner out of all submitted stories will be recognized and awarded with a $1,000 cash prize.
“Employees in the trucking industry and beyond have been working tirelessly to stock shelves in grocery stores, deliver critical supplies to hospitals, and safely move other goods across the country during the COVID-19 pandemic, and we are proud to support them every step of the way. The IMTA Extra Mile Campaign is an opportunity for these Iowa heroes to receive some well-deserved recognition for their hard work,” said Brenda Neville, President & CEO of the Iowa Motor Truck Association.
