The Iowa Motor Truck Association is proud to announce a partnership with Wreaths Across America (WAA) to participate in its virtual convoy. As a part of the virtual convoy, IMTA will be working to fill ONE TRAILER of wreaths (5,000 wreaths) to send to Arlington National Cemetery or other veteran cemeteries. You can determine where you want your wreath or wreaths to go.
To fill ONE TRAILER we are hoping to secure financial support for 5,000 wreaths. The cost of the wreaths through this campaign is only $17 per wreath. IMTA will receive $5 back from Wreaths Across America for every wreath purchased through this program. The money IMTA receives as part of this project will be reinvested in the show trailer outreach campaign and our ongoing efforts with the Iowa National Guard to recruit service men and women into the trucking industry.
It is very easy to
sponsor/purchase a wreath or multiple wreaths, simply
click on the IMTA state association group page and purchase the wreaths. You must sponsor your wreaths through this site or IMTA will not receive the credit towards our goal or the $5 back. There are over 40 state trucking associations involved in this worthwhile campaign to ensure there will be wreaths for everyone that served in the military and are now laid to rest at a veterans cemetery in the United States. The wreaths are laid at the gravesites of veterans in December.
