Numerous events and activities are hosted by the IMTA throughout the year all over the state, too. This is one of the most important jobs IMTA does for its members and we take this job very seriously. IMTA works very closely with government officials and lawmakers year-round to aggressively and effectively represent the interests of Iowa’s trucking industry on both the state and national level.

• Truck Talk Newsletter: Bi-weekly newsletter that provides updates on state/national issues, legislative updates and regulatory information
• Iowa Trucking Lifeliner:  Quarterly magazine featuring timely, high-level articles that are of interest to every reader, no matter their position in the company.
• Informational Electronic Promotions: Through these promotions, IMTA is able to communicate various events, educational opportunities, and networking opportunities that are available to members.  Additionally, when IMTA hears something, members will hear it, too.  When information comes to us that is of crucial importance to members, special alerts will be send to notify members.

All IMTA members have the opportunity to participate in the monthly webinar program. Through these webinars, IMTA members will have access to the latest information on the hot topics of the moment all from the comfort of their own office and at NO CHARGE.

In addition to the monthly webinars, IMTA members have access to a variety of additional educational programming throughout the year and often times, throughout the state.

IMTA hosts several different programs that allow professionals within the industry to receive the recognition and attention they deserve. Master Driver Awards, Professional Driver Awards, Maintenance and Operations Awards are just a few of the categories that are recognized through the IMTA Awards program.
